Bookstore Round the Corner!

Now, we know your idea of a cozy afternoon is to curl up with a Tulika book and bite into a hot bonda, crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside (look at us getting carried away).

Well, imagine if we said you could sit in a room full of Tulika books all day long and devour each one. Read all your favourites, picture books and paperbacks, nonfiction and resource books and gaze at our gorgeous books+ products all in one place...

No, don't pinch yourself. It's true. It's here. The Tulika Bookstore. So catch a bus or a train or a parachute or a plane and get here. If you're a Chennaiite, hurrah! -  we're just around the corner...

24/1 Ganapathy Colony Third Street in Teynampet be precise! We're open from Monday - Friday between 10 am - 6 pm and on Saturday between 10 am and 5 pm.

  1. What about Bangalore then?

  2. Yes, please please, pretty please open a store in Bangalore too :(

  3. They always give us Bangloreans a step-motherly treatment!

So now I'm going to catch the next friend going to Chennai to pick up Advaita for me- I cannot find it anywhere here.

  4. @fitnessfreak - exact co-ordinates have been updated into the post :)

  5. @Choxbox + Simran: Waitees, ladies.

@Sandhya: What-does-you-means?! We had our Panchatantra series launch and the Let's Plant Trees release in Bengalooru.

Also, you can place an order directly on our website for Advaita.

  6. Eagerly awaiting!! For us touchy-feely-open-book-and-look type ppl, please open a store in B'lore. I went to Mother Earth to pick up loads of bilinguals for friends and family abroad and did not get enough choices :( Will try doing them online but like I said, sometimes you just like browsing through books before buying them ;)

  7. we want one in bbay too!preferably more!

  8. How we wish we could be there! So many Tulika stories we tell our children, this would have been lovely! Please think of us in Mumbai :(

Best of Luck to you Tulika Kaka:)

  9. Just kidding!:) Though we do have a task finding more than a few Tulika books in Bangalore stores. I've seen them in Sutradhar, and of late in Mother Earth and a new shop called Bookstop.
We could do with a Tulika bookstore here, though!
And yes, will order the book online if I don't find it soon.:)

  10. hi,
Do you have a copy of Partibhan Kanavu (English translation)? If not then can you let me know from where can I get one?
    Thanks in advance
