Tulika at the 2009 Bookaroo Children's Literature Festival

The basics:

With a host of varied events, this year at Bookaroo promises to be buzzing with engaging activities. Some of Tulika's authors will also be there soaking in the atmosphere and creating some magic of their own over the two day event. A quick glimpse at what they will be upto:

Nina Sabnani's 'At Home in the World'
Peek through the windows of Nina's storytelling house, adapted from the wooden Kaavad, and discover the pictures that inspire stories of home, family and belonging.

1:45 - 2:45 pm: Sandhya Rao's 'Thumthing's happening' 
Wanted! Lots of little thumbs to help to make a unique world. Ready? Set?.... 
Ages 4-6, The Glade & Doodle Wall 

29th Nov:
   11: 45 - 12:45 pm: Sandhya Rao's 'Beginning Tales'
Listen to Sandya's retelling of the Bhilala creation story and explore how trees,buildings, clouds, even ideas first began.
Ages 8-10, The Glade & Doodle Wall

3:30 - 4:00 pm: Anjali Raghbeer's 'Looking at Art' series
The official launch of Anjali's set of four books that introduces children to famous Indian artists Jamini Roy, Amrita Sher-Gil, M.F.Husain and Ravi Varma.
